These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and any workshops, photography experiences, creative services, online content or community membership offered by Johny Spencer Photography (“we”, “us” or “our”).

By accessing this website, making a booking, purchasing a service or participating in any experience, you agree to be bound by these terms.

01. WORKSHOPS & PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCES

Our workshops and photography experiences are designed to immerse you in nature while helping you create meaningful photographs and visual stories.

Because many experiences take place in remote and natural environments, itineraries may change due to weather conditions, safety concerns, accessibility or other factors outside our control.

Participants are responsible for:

• their own travel arrangements

• travel insurance

• photography equipment

• personal expenses

• fitness suitability for the experience booked

A reasonable level of fitness and mobility may be required for some experiences. Please review workshop information carefully before booking or contact us with any questions.

02. BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS

A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your booking for workshops, mentoring sessions or photography experiences.

Unless otherwise stated:

• all prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD)

• full payment must be completed before the start date of the experience

• payment terms may vary for custom or international projects

We reserve the right to decline or cancel bookings at our discretion.

03. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Cancellations made more than 60 days before the workshop or experience start date may be eligible for a partial refund, excluding any non-refundable deposit.

Cancellations made within 60 days of the start date are generally non-refundable.

If you are unable to attend, we may offer:

• transfer to another available workshop

• credit toward a future experience

• rescheduling options where possible

If we cancel an experience due to unforeseen circumstances, weather, safety concerns or events outside our control, participants will be offered an alternative date or refund where appropriate.

We are not responsible for:

• travel expenses

• accommodation costs

• third-party booking fees

• additional personal costs incurred

04. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Our workshops and experiences often take place in outdoor and remote environments where inherent risks exist, including:

• changing weather

• uneven terrain

• wildlife encounters

• remote travel conditions

By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

Participants are responsible for their own safety, behaviour and personal decisions during any workshop or photography experience.

You agree to follow all reasonable instructions provided during the experience.

05. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All photographs, films, educational content, website material, branding and creative work produced by Johny Spencer Photography remain the intellectual property of Johny Spencer Photography unless otherwise agreed in writing.

You may not:

• reproduce

• distribute

• resell

• modify

• commercially use

any content without written permission.

You are welcome to share content for personal use with appropriate credit where applicable.

06. CREATIVE SERVICES

Creative service projects are confirmed through written agreement, project scope and quotation.

Project timelines, deliverables and licensing terms may vary depending on the nature of the work.

Unless otherwise agreed:

• copyright remains with Johny Spencer Photography

• usage rights are granted only for agreed purposes

• additional revisions or scope changes may incur additional fees

Final delivery timelines may vary depending on weather, travel conditions or production requirements.

07. COMMUNITY & DIGITAL CONTENT

Access to online community content, educational resources, downloads or mentoring material is provided for personal use only.

You may not:

• redistribute

• reproduce

• share login access

• resell educational materials

without permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove access to community platforms or digital products if these terms are breached.

08. PRIVACY

Your privacy is important to us.

Any personal information collected through this website, email subscriptions or enquiry forms is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

This may include:

• analytics data

• workshop enquiries

We do not sell or share personal information with third parties unless required by law.

09. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Participants acknowledge that outdoor travel and photography activities involve inherent risks.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or protections available under Australian Consumer Law where applicable.
